Over the last two months:-
* The farm attended a Special Needs workshop at Waterside with the animals being a huge hit with everybody.
* GSK have done another volunteering day for us, working on the Garden flooring and painting.
* We have been given two new ducks called Sugar and Spice!
* All the sheep have been sheared and now look much tidier !!
* Morgan Est have visited for another volunteering day and have completed the sensory garden, put a new roof on the rabbit runs, built a covered walkway and painted some fences.
* Carrillion have re-vamped the two common rooms, painted and replaced furniture and made table for the rabbit hutches to sit on so that they are at a reachable height.
* Proctor and Gamble have done a volunteer day laying new flooring in the garden area.
* The farm attended a fete on25th June with some animals to support the Harlington Hospice.
22nd April a volunteer group of 20 from Timberland re-turfed the rabbit runs and laid flooring in the garden. They did a great job and provided all the materials themselves. (photos below)
10th May around 20 people from GSK did a volunteer day at the farm. They painted our fences and laid some flooring. They provided all materials and we are very grateful for some wonderful work. (photos below)
12th May was our Beneficiaries Open day - a major success, with the opportunity to meet Laura, our new Patron. The Sheraton did another wonderful spread of food for us. Great music!! (click for special report and photos)
13th May we attended the Royal Windsor Horse Show, competing of the RDA fancy dress ride. Theme this years was Films and we chose 'Wizard of Oz', and came 4th!!, beating a lot of others with the same idea! This is our best result. We took Abby Simpson and Kim Clark with us. Great day in the sun.
